Full name: “Atticwell: Asset Cleanup”

$39 a month or $390 a year per site. 14-day free trial on each site, starting at your first change (a delete, rename, alt text or folder move). Scanning and dry runs don't start it. No card needed to try it.

Atticwell shows where every file in your Assets panel is used, finds the ones nothing uses, and cleans up the rest: duplicates, oversized images, missing or unhelpful alt text and camera file names.

Webflow's Assets panel can rename, replace, compress and bulk delete, but it can't tell you which assets your site still uses. Its own help says to delete every use first, and that an asset still in use comes back the next time you publish. So most sites keep years of old uploads, and nobody dares to touch them.

What you get

Know where every asset is used

Atticwell reads your static pages, components, every CMS item, your class styles (background images, read in the Designer) and the published site, including custom code, embeds and Open Graph images. Each asset shows where it's used: "Page: Home", "CMS: Team: Ana Diaz", "Style: Section Textured".

Delete safely, with a way back

A dry run first lists exactly what would go and refuses anything used or unknown, with the reason. Then type DELETE. Atticwell checks each file with Webflow again, keeps a copy for 14 days, and only then deletes.

Find duplicates

Files with exactly the same content, found by a hash of the bytes, even when their names differ. The copy used in the most places is kept; unused extra copies can go through the same safe delete.

Shrink oversized images

Every image wider than your site needs (2,400 px by default) or heavier than your limit, with a plan: resize, convert to WebP or AVIF, or both, and the estimated size after. Open Graph images stay JPG or PNG so social shares show them. Resize in one click: Atticwell makes the smaller file in your browser and replaces it in the Designer, and Webflow updates every place it's used.

Fix alt text in bulk, without AI

Finds alt text that's missing, empty, a file name ("IMG_4032.jpg"), the same sentence on different pictures, "image of...", or too long. Suggestions come from the CMS item a picture belongs to, its file name, or your own template such as "{item} from our {collection} menu". You edit and approve each one before anything is written. No AI service, no credits.

Rename and file

SEO-friendly file names ("lemon-tart.jpg" instead of "IMG_4032.jpg") from the CMS item, the alt text or the readable words of the name. Pages use assets by id, so a rename never breaks a page. Folder rules (by file type, by where it's used, or used/unused/unknown) create the folders and move the assets.

Keep it clean

Download a manifest of every asset (CSV or JSON): size, pixels, where it's used, alt text, findings. A weekly report: a fresh scan compared with last week, with what was added and removed.

What it doesn't do

It doesn't see CMS image fields' own uploads (they aren't in the Assets panel) or files in a Shared Library's source site. Webflow's API gives no image sizes, so Atticwell reads each image's header from Webflow's CDN; images under 100 KB aren't measured. Savings are estimates until a resize shows the real number.

Get started

Install Atticwell, approve your site, open it from the Apps panel in the Designer and press Scan this site.

What Atticwell needs

Read access to your site, assets, pages, components and CMS, and permission to rename, write alt text, create folders and delete the assets you approve. The Webflow access token is stored encrypted. Not made or endorsed by Webflow. English interface.
