Webflow

WherewellCMS store locator with built-in geocoding: address search, radius, filters, Near me. No map API key.

Full name: “Wherewell: Store Locator Map”

From $24 a month per site. 14-day free trial on each site with 500 lookups, starting the first time you geocode or add a locator. No card needed to try it.

Wherewell turns a CMS collection of locations into a store locator on your page: a map and a list your visitors can search by address or postcode, narrow by distance and by your own CMS fields, or sort with Near me. Geocoding is built in, so nobody copies coordinates from another site and you don't need a Google or Mapbox API key.

What you get

Geocoding built in, with a preview

Pick the collection and its address fields. Wherewell finds every item with an address but no coordinates. Geocode them in one go and see each result first: the matched address, the coordinates and how exact the match is. Approximate matches (city or postcode only) start unticked.

Stays in sync

New and edited items are geocoded automatically through Webflow webhooks. Change an address and the pin moves. Place a pin by hand (type the coordinates) and Wherewell never overwrites it.

A locator your visitors can use

Search by address or postcode, choose a distance (miles or kilometres), filter by up to four of your CMS fields, or press Near me. Results list nearest first with the distance, your details (phone, email, website), a link to the item's page and a Directions link.

Native and yours to style

Wherewell inserts one normal Webflow element with marked areas for search, filters, status, list and map. Move them, restyle them, or use your own layout and classes. Only published items appear on the map. Drafts never leak.

What Wherewell adds to your site

One script, the Wherewell locator, added through Webflow's Custom Code API to the footer of only the pages where you placed a locator. You can see it in each page's custom code settings. It loads your published locations from Great Work's server, draws the map with MapLibre and OpenFreeMap map tiles (map data from OpenStreetMap contributors, credited on the map), and sends what a visitor types into the search box to Great Work's server to find that place. It reads no forms and sets no cookies.

Coverage

Address geocoding covers the United States, Canada and Mexico. For locations elsewhere, type the coordinates into the two fields; the map, distance search and Near me work worldwide.

Get started

Install Wherewell and approve your site, then open it from the Apps panel in the Designer. On Locations, pick your collection and click Find items to geocode: you'll see every result before anything is written.
