Webflow

ReplacewellFind and replace across pages, components, SEO, alt text, links and CMS. Preview first, undo after.

Full name: “Replacewell: Find and Replace”

$6 a month or $49 a year per site. 14-day free trial on each site, starting the first time you apply a change. No card needed to try it.

Replacewell finds and replaces text across your whole Webflow site in one pass: static pages, components, component text properties, SEO and Open Graph fields, image alt text, link URLs and CMS items, including rich text. You see every change in context before anything is written, untick the ones you want to keep, and undo any run later with one click, CMS items included.

What you get

Built for rebrands, renamed products and domain moves

Rename a company, product or plan everywhere it appears, in one run. Move links to a new domain: buttons, links, CMS link fields and links inside rich text. Paths after the domain are kept.

Preview before every change

Every match is listed by page, component, SEO field or CMS item, with the words around it. Untick a single match, a whole page or a whole CMS item. Only ticked changes are written.

Undo, even for CMS items

Every run is saved to History in your browser for 30 days. Undo puts the old text back. Undo never overwrites later edits: if someone changed a field after Replacewell did, it's left alone and reported.

Safe with rich text and big sites

Only words change (and link URLs, when you turn that on). Classes, data-w-id attributes, embeds and components inside rich text stay exactly as they are. Slugs are never changed. CMS items are written in batches of up to 100 and paced to Webflow's rate limits.

Smarter matching

Match case, whole word (works with accented letters), keep capitalization (cat to dog, Cat to Dog, CAT to DOG). Look-alike characters: curly and straight quotes, non-breaking spaces and hyphens match each other, so nothing is missed because it was pasted in from a doc.

Get started

Install Replacewell, approve your site, then open it from the Apps panel in the Designer. Type what to find and click Find matches: you see every match before anything changes.
