Full name: “Purgewell: Form Data Privacy”
$39 a month or $390 a year per site. 14-day free trial on each site, starting at your first purge or request. Looking around and dry runs don't start it. No card needed to try it.
Purgewell is the privacy side of your Webflow forms. It shows which forms collect which personal data, deletes old submissions on a schedule you set, and handles the requests people send when they want a copy of their data or want it gone.
Webflow keeps every form submission until someone deletes it, and its privacy FAQ says that when one of your visitors sends Webflow a GDPR or CCPA request, Webflow can't act on it and points them to you. Purgewell does that work inside your site's own data.
What you get
See what your forms collect
Every form on the site, plus forms you've removed whose submissions are still stored. Each field labeled with the kind of personal data it collects: email, phone, name, address, date of birth, ID numbers, payment details, free text, file uploads. Labels come from Webflow's field type, the field's name and a sample of recent submissions; change any label and yours sticks.
Keep submissions only as long as you need them
A rule per form: delete submissions older than 30, 90 or 180 days, a year, two years, or any number you choose. A dry run first shows how many submissions each rule would delete, and from when to when. Nothing is deleted until you've checked a dry run of the same rules.
Answer data-subject requests
A request page behind a private link you can put in your privacy policy. People ask for a copy of their data or for deletion, and confirm by email that it's them. Log requests that arrive by email or phone too. Due dates are tracked: GDPR one month (Purgewell counts at most 30 days), CCPA 45 days, with one extension and a reason.
Keep a record
A record of processing for the site: each form's personal data, purpose, lawful basis, recipients, submission count and retention, as a PDF or CSV.
What it doesn't do
It doesn't make your site compliant with GDPR, CCPA or any other law, and it isn't legal advice. Which rules apply, how long you keep data and how you answer a request are your decisions. Webflow's API can't delete store orders or remove a customer's details from one, so Purgewell finds them and lists them on the certificate. It reads CMS items but doesn't edit them; the certificate lists those too.
Get started
Install Purgewell, approve your site, open it from the Apps panel in the Designer, and look at the Forms tab.
What Purgewell needs
Read access to your site, forms, submissions, CMS and store orders, and permission to delete form submissions. The Webflow access token is stored encrypted. Purgewell keeps no copy of your submissions. While a request is open, the person's details and what the search found are stored encrypted, and deleted when you close it or 30 days after the search.
