VaultwellCMS snapshots with item history, one-item restore, deleted-item recovery and collection rollback.
Full name: “Vaultwell: Backup and Restore”
Also for Wix
From $39 a month per site. 14-day free trial on each site (300 snapshots or restores), starting with your first snapshot. No card needed to try it.
Vaultwell keeps scheduled snapshots of every CMS collection on your site and lets you put back exactly what you need: one field of one item, a deleted item, or a whole collection after a bad import. Webflow's own site backups restore the entire site at once, design and content together, and Webflow doesn't take them on a schedule. Vaultwell works at the level of a single item, shows you what changed before anything is written, and runs on its own every day or every hour.
What you get
Snapshots that run themselves
Every collection, every item, drafts and archived items included, every locale, with the collection's fields. Daily on Standard, hourly on Pro, and a snapshot by hand whenever you're about to do something risky.
See what changed, item by item
The history of any item: every saved version, oldest first, with each field's before and after, and the Webflow user id Webflow records as the last editor. Compare any snapshot with the live collection: what changed, what was deleted and what was added since.
Put back exactly what you need
Restore one item to any saved version, or as a new draft next to the current one. Bring back deleted items. Webflow gives them a new id, so Vaultwell re-links the references to them and from them, including items in other collections that pointed at them.
What a restore can't do
A deleted item comes back with a new id (Webflow never reuses one); its references are re-linked. Fields Webflow sets itself (created by, updated by, dates) and code blocks inside rich text can't be written by any app.
Pro: image and file copies
Pro keeps encrypted copies of the images and files your items use, so a restore still works after an asset was removed.
Get started
Install Vaultwell and approve your site, then open it from the Apps panel in the Designer and press Take a snapshot now. Set daily or hourly snapshots in Settings. When you need something back, open Item history or Restore, check the preview, and restore.
What Vaultwell needs
Read access to your CMS for snapshots, write access to restore items when you ask, permission to create the item webhooks that feed the history, and your site's name, workspace and locales. It adds no code to your site and never touches your pages or publishes your site. Made by Great Work LLC. Not made or endorsed by Webflow. English interface.
