Snippetwell for Webflow: Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Snippetwell is a Webflow app made by Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA (hello@greatwork.company). This policy covers what Snippetwell collects, why, where it goes, how long we keep it and how to delete it.

What Snippetwell stores

WhatWhyKept for
Your site's Webflow access token, encrypted (AES-256-GCM)To read your pages and CMS into the grid and write the SEO changes you applyUntil you remove Snippetwell, uninstall it or revoke access; then deleted
Site id, workspace id, site nameTo apply your planAs long as Snippetwell is connected
Field mappings: which fields of each collection hold its SEO title, description and Open Graph values (field names only, no content)So the grid reads and writes the right fieldsUntil you remove Snippetwell
Batch history: when a batch was applied, by whom (Webflow user email), its name, and how many pages and items were changed, skipped or publishedThe History tab and accountability inside your team1 year after the batch, or until you remove Snippetwell
Undo journal: for each page or item a batch changed, the old SEO values it replaced, encrypted (AES-256-GCM)So you can undo the batch30 days, then deleted (the batch stays in History without undo)
Search Console, only if you connect it: a Google refresh token, encrypted (AES-256-GCM), and the property you pickedTo read your Search Console numbers when you open the appUntil you disconnect Google, remove Snippetwell or revoke access at Google; then deleted
Server request logs: time, method, path, status, durationSecurity and troubleshooting30 days. Not logged: query strings, tokens, request bodies, SEO text, Search Console data, emails

What we don't store. The grid is read from Webflow each time you open it; Snippetwell keeps no copy of your pages or CMS content on our servers. Search Console numbers (clicks, impressions, CTR, position, queries) are kept in our server's memory for up to 6 hours so the grid doesn't ask Google on every click; they are never written to disk. Changes you've staged but not applied stay in the app panel in your browser's memory only (never in browser storage, never on our server) and are gone when you close the panel. Snippetwell doesn't collect your site visitors' data, adds no code or cookies to your site, and doesn't read form submissions, ecommerce data or assets.

Personal data. The personal data Snippetwell holds is your Webflow user email (sessions, receipts and the History tab). SEO text in an undo journal can contain personal data if your content does; it is kept encrypted, for 30 days, only to undo. Search queries from Search Console are aggregated by Google and are shown to you only. We don't sell personal data, don't use it for advertising and don't use it to train AI models. Snippetwell sends none of your content to any AI service.

Google user data (Search Console)

Snippetwell asks Google for one permission, "View Search Console data" (webmasters.readonly). It uses it only to list your Search Console properties and to show the clicks, impressions, CTR, position and top queries of your own site's pages next to their SEO settings. It never changes anything in Search Console. Snippetwell's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: the data is not used for advertising, not sold, not transferred to anyone, and not read by people at Great Work except with your consent for support, for security, or where the law requires it. Disconnect in Snippetwell's Search Console tab or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Retention and deletion

  • Remove Snippetwell (Settings) deletes the Webflow token, the Google token (revoked at Google first), field mappings, batch history and undo journals for your site, at once.
  • Uninstall or revoke access in Webflow: we delete the tokens and your site's data the next time Webflow tells us the access is gone (on our next request, and at the latest by the next daily check).
  • Disconnect Google deletes the Google token and property choice; revoking at Google deletes them on our next request to Google.
  • Undo journals are deleted after 30 days; batch history after 1 year (retention runs daily).
  • If your trial or plan ends, nothing is deleted early: the grid stays readable and Undo of your last batch keeps working until its 30 days are up.
  • To ask for a copy or deletion of your data, email hello@greatwork.company. We answer within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and object to or restrict its use. Email hello@greatwork.company. Our legal basis for processing is the contract with you (providing the app you installed) and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

Children

Snippetwell is a business tool and isn't meant for children under 16; site visitors are never involved.

Changes

We'll post changes here and update the date above. If a change matters, we'll say so in the app.
