Docentwell for Webflow: Terms of Service

Effective date: October 1, 2026 These terms are between Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA ("Great Work", "we") and the person or organization that installs or uses the Docentwell app for Webflow ("you"). Using the App means you accept them. Contact: hello@greatwork.company.

  1. License. While your trial or plan is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App on the Webflow sites it covers, for your own or your clients' sites, and to share the client guides it makes with your clients.

  2. Trial, plans and billing. Each site gets a 14-day free trial that starts with its first real use (publishing the client guide link, exporting the PDF, writing field help text or running a launch check); connecting the site, reading it, previews, help-text suggestions and the video script don't start it. After the trial, the App needs a paid plan: a site plan at $39 per month or $390 per year, covering one site, or a workspace plan at $149 per month or $1,490 per year, covering every site in one Webflow workspace. Every plan includes every feature, with the limits in the App (8 live pages and 60 old addresses per launch check, 30 uploaded images per site). There is no free plan. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes, which are added where the law requires. Plans are billed in advance by Great Work through Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel or switch plans any time from Manage billing in the App; cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We may change prices with 30 days' notice; a change applies from your next renewal.

  3. When a trial or plan ends. The client guide link shows a short page saying the guide isn't available and naming your contact details (it doesn't mention billing or the App), and exports, help-text writes and launch checks pause. Nothing is changed in Webflow. Your notes, brand and change log stay for 30 days; after 30 days without a plan, the site's data in the App is deleted. Pick a plan to switch the guide back on at the same link.

  4. Refunds and right to cancel. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may cancel within 14 days of your first purchase and get a full refund by writing to hello@greatwork.company. By starting to use a paid plan within that period you ask us to start the service right away. Otherwise fees are non-refundable except where the law requires; if the App fails materially and we can't fix it, write to us and we will refund the affected period.

  5. Your sites, your guides. You may only connect sites you own or manage with the owner's permission. You decide what goes into a guide (notes, contact details, care plans, change log entries, links and images) and who gets its link, and you are responsible for it: it must be accurate, yours to publish, and lawful. Help text the App writes replaces the help text a field had; the App keeps the previous text so you can undo it from the Fields tab. Don't use the App to break the law, Webflow's terms, or anyone's rights. The launch check reads only the sites you connect and the old addresses you enter; don't enter addresses you have no right to check.

  6. Data processing for guide content. For personal data you put in a guide (for example your client's name or your staff's contact details), you are the controller and Great Work is your processor. We process it only to show the guide and PDF you publish, keep it confidential, protect it as the privacy policy describes, use DigitalOcean and Stripe as sub-processors, help you answer requests from the people concerned, tell you without undue delay about a personal data breach that affects it, delete it when you remove the App, and give you the information you need to show this. Write to us for a signed data processing agreement.

  7. What the App does, and its limits. The App reads your site's structure through Webflow's official APIs with the access you grant (never the content of CMS items or form submissions), writes CMS field help text when you apply it, serves the guide you publish, and reads your published pages over the public internet for the launch check. Step pictures are simplified illustrations of Webflow's interface, labelled as such; Webflow may change its interface. The launch check is a set of automated checks and a score, not a guarantee that a site is free of problems, accessible, or ranked by search engines. The App doesn't invite users, set roles or change billing in Webflow; the role checklist is for you to tick. Webflow is not a party to these terms or responsible for the App, and client guides are not Webflow documentation.

  8. Support and changes. Email support at hello@greatwork.company, first reply within one business day (Monday to Friday, US Central time). We may improve the App; we won't remove a core feature (the client guide link and PDF, help-text writing, the launch check, the role checklist, care plans and the change log) during a paid period without notice and a pro-rata refund on request.

  9. Warranty disclaimer. The App is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the launch check finds every problem, or that the guide's instructions fit every future version of Webflow.

  10. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

  11. Termination. You can stop using the App and uninstall it at any time; the client guide link stops working when you remove it. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms. Sections 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 12 survive.

  12. General. Delaware law governs, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country they live in. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms, the privacy policy (https://greatwork.company/apps/docentwell-for-webflow/privacy) and your plan are the entire agreement about the App.
