Zonestub privacy policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Zonestub: Delivery Area Checker ("Zonestub") is an app for Wix sites made by Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA ("we"). This policy explains what Zonestub reads, what it keeps about site owners and their visitors and shoppers, and for how long. Questions: hello@greatwork.company.

What Zonestub reads from your site

Through Wix's API, and only to run the delivery checker and your checkout delivery option: your plan status; your site's name, business address and its map position, currency and country (to set up your first store and money format); your saved Wix locations and their map positions when you import them; your Wix Stores product names when you choose local-only products. At checkout Wix sends Zonestub the shopper's delivery address, the items and the order subtotal, so it can price delivery and check minimums. Zonestub never reads your orders, customer list, payments or site members.

What Zonestub keeps about your site

  • Your install: the Wix app instance id, site name, plan status, which Wix Stores catalog you use, and a random site key that names your public checker file.
  • Your setup: stores (names, addresses, map positions), delivery zones (codes, distances, drive times, shapes, fees, minimums, wording), checker wording and design, checkout options and local-only product names. A copy of what visitors' browsers need to show the checker (wording, colors, currency; never zones, fees, stores or names) is published as a public file.
  • Area request counts: per month and per area (a 5-digit zip code, a UK district like SW1A, a Canadian area like M5B, or the first 4 characters of another postcode), how many checks were answered yes, no or couldn't tell, and how many waitlist sign-ups there were. Counts only. Kept 90 days (Standard), 1 year (Pro) or 2 years (Scale).
  • This month's count of address lookups, and the key of the "Outside delivery area" contact label in your site.
  • Sessions: a random token for your dashboard, deleted after 12 hours.

What Zonestub keeps about your visitors and shoppers

  • Nothing on their devices: Zonestub sets no cookies and uses no browser storage.
  • Not the addresses they type. A zip code or address typed into the checker, and a shopper's delivery address at checkout, are used to answer and then forgotten. To answer an address, Zonestub sends it to our own geocoding service (Great Work's server, which uses Geocodio, a US geocoding provider, and keeps a shared cache of address-to-position results), and keeps the result in memory for up to a day so repeat checks don't count twice. It is never written to Zonestub's database.
  • Day hashes: to count one check per area per day, Zonestub stores a keyed hash of the day, the site, the area and the visitor's network (the first three parts of the IP address). The IP address itself is never stored, and these hashes are deleted after 2 days.
  • Waitlist sign-ups: when a visitor asks to hear when you deliver to their area, the email (and the name, if your form asks for it) and the postcode they checked go straight to your site's Wix contacts with the label "Outside delivery area". Zonestub does not keep them; you manage those contacts in Wix like any other.

You, the site owner, are the controller of your visitors' and shoppers' data; we process it for you, only to run Zonestub. We never use it for anything else, never sell it and never contact your visitors.

Where data is stored and who sees it

On Great Work's server in New York (DigitalOcean, USA), behind HTTPS, with access logs switched off for visitor and checkout requests. Service providers: Wix (your site and contacts), DigitalOcean (hosting), Geocodio (address lookups). Nobody else.

When data is deleted

  • When your plan ends: the checker and checkout option stop at once; area request counts are deleted 30 days later. Your setup stays so you can come back.
  • When you remove Zonestub from your site: everything is deleted 30 days later (in case you reinstall).
  • Any time: download everything we keep, or delete the area request counts, in the dashboard's Help and data tab.
  • Site copies get your setup (never your counts).
