Zonestub guide
Zonestub answers "do you deliver to me?" on your site and prices delivery at checkout from the same zones. Questions: hello@greatwork.company (a person answers within one business day).
1. Check your stores
Open Zonestub from your site's dashboard (Apps). On the Stores tab your business address is already there if you filled in Settings > Business Info. Add more stores by typing their address, or click Import my Wix locations. Distance and drive-time zones measure from these. Addresses are looked up for the US and Canada.
2. Make your zones
On the Zones tab click Add a zone and choose how the area is defined:
- Zip or postal codes: type them with commas.
752*means every code starting with 752;75201-75250is a range. A UK district likeSW1matches every SW1 postcode but not SW11; a Canadian area likeM5Bmatches every M5B code. These zones never use address lookups and work in any country. - Distance from a store: a straight-line distance in miles or km (Units are on the Checker tab).
- Driving distance or time (Pro and Scale): road distance, minutes of driving, or both.
- Drawn shape (Pro and Scale): in Google My Maps draw your area, choose Export to KML, open the file and paste its text. GeoJSON works too.
Give each zone a delivery fee (0 for free), an optional minimum order, free delivery over an amount, the delivery time shoppers see, and the name of the option at checkout. On Pro and Scale, distance zones can add a fee per mile or km past the first few.
Zones are checked top to bottom: the first that covers an address answers. Use Up and Down, or choose "the cheapest zone answers" on the Checker tab. Try an address shows the exact answer any address gets.
3. Put the checker on your site
In the Wix editor: Add Elements > App Widgets (or My Apps) > Zonestub delivery checker. Click its Settings once: that connects it to your site; choose Full or Compact. On a product page, add the Zonestub plugin from the plugins list. On the Checker tab choose whether visitors type a zip code or their full address (more exact for distance zones), change the wording, add a button after a yes (for example to your shop), and pick colors. The preview answers from your real zones.
Before your free trial starts, the checker only shows a note in the editor; visitors see nothing.
4. Turn on delivery at checkout (Wix Stores)
In your site's dashboard: Settings > Shipping & delivery > open the region you deliver in > Add rate (or Add carrier) > Zonestub > Save. Shoppers inside a zone now see your option with the zone's fee and delivery time, free once their order passes your amount. Below a zone's minimum, checkout tells them how much more to add.
On the Checkout tab:
- Only take orders for addresses inside my zones: for businesses that only deliver locally. Store pickup still works. Leave it off if you also ship by post.
- Local-only products (Pro and Scale): products that can only go to addresses inside your zones, while the rest of your store ships anywhere.
If you used Wix's own local delivery for the same area, switch that one off so shoppers don't see two options.
5. Waitlist and area requests
After a "no", visitors can leave their email to hear when you deliver there. They appear in your Wix contacts with the label Outside delivery area, with the postcode they checked, ready for an email campaign when you expand. The Area requests tab shows which areas visitors check and how often the answer was no.
Address lookups
A lookup is finding an address or zip code we haven't looked up for your site in the last day, or one road distance. Plans include 2,500 (Standard), 15,000 (Pro) or 50,000 (Scale) a month; before a plan, 100 for setup. Zip code zones never use them. When they run out, zip code zones keep answering and distance zones say they couldn't tell until the 1st of the next month.
Plans
Standard $24 a month ($20 billed yearly): 1 store, 5 zones. Pro $49 ($40): 5 stores, 25 zones, fees per mile, drive-time and drawn zones, local-only products. Scale $99 ($90): 25 stores, 100 zones. 14-day free trial through Wix.
Your data
Zonestub keeps your setup and counts of checks per area. It never keeps the addresses, emails or names that visitors and shoppers type. Download everything or delete the counts on the Help and data tab. Privacy policy: https://addons.greatwork.company/wix/delivery-area/privacy
