Tickwell terms of use

These terms are between you (the owner of the Wix site where Tickwell is installed) and Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA ("we"). By installing Tickwell: Timed Quizzes & Exams ("Tickwell") you accept them. Questions: hello@greatwork.company.

What Tickwell does

Tickwell lets you build timed quizzes in your Wix dashboard and shows them on your site through the Tickwell widget. It keeps each attempt's time limit on our server, saves answers as people work, hands in and grades attempts when time runs out, and gives you results, CSV files and PDF certificates for passing attempts.

Your quizzes and your takers

You write the questions, the right answers and the settings, and you decide who may take a quiz and how long results are kept. Check your answer keys: automatic grading follows them exactly, and you can change points afterwards. You are responsible for telling your quiz takers how you use their results, and for having a lawful basis to collect their names and emails. Tickwell processes takers' data only to run your quizzes, as the privacy policy describes.

Tickwell is a timing and grading tool, not a proctoring service. It doesn't watch takers, lock their browser or verify who they are beyond a site member login when you require one. Don't rely on it alone for high-stakes exams where identity or cheating must be controlled.

Plans and billing

Tickwell is a premium app billed by Wix (Standard and Pro, monthly or yearly, with a 14-day trial through Wix). Wix's App Market terms govern payments, renewals, refunds and taxes. Without an active plan you can build quizzes, but visitors can't start them. Each plan includes a number of attempts per calendar month; when they're used, new starts wait until the next month or a plan change, and attempts already running finish normally.

Availability

We work to keep Tickwell running and fix problems quickly, but we don't promise it will be available at every moment. If our server can't be reached, takers' saved answers stay saved and are handed in when their time runs out; answers typed while the connection was down may be lost. You can pause a quiz (every running clock stops), add time to one attempt, or allow a retake.

No warranty

Tickwell is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for Tickwell in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for decisions made from quiz results or certificates.

Ending

You can remove Tickwell at any time from your Wix dashboard. We may end access for abuse or non-payment. Data is handled as the privacy policy describes.

Changes and law

We'll post changes here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA.
