Swathwell privacy policy

Swathwell: Bulk Product Editor ("Swathwell") is an app for Wix sites made by Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA ("we"). This policy explains what Swathwell reads, what it keeps, and for how long. Questions: hello@greatwork.company.

What Swathwell reads

When you open Swathwell in your Wix dashboard, it reads your Wix Stores catalog through Wix's API: products, their variants, prices, compare-at prices, costs, SKUs, barcodes, weights, stock, categories or collections, ribbons, brands, image alt text and SEO title and description. It shows them in your dashboard and doesn't keep a copy of your catalog.

Swathwell never reads your orders, customers, contacts, payments or site members. It adds nothing to your live site, sets no cookies and runs no scripts for your visitors.

What Swathwell keeps

  • Your site's install: the Wix app instance id, site name and address, your plan status, and which Wix Stores catalog the site uses.
  • Saved views: their names, filters, sort and columns.
  • The change log: one entry per change you apply, undo, or a scheduled sale makes: when, a label, and how many rows were changed, skipped or failed. Kept 90 days on Standard and 1 year on Pro.
  • Undo journals: for each change, the values it replaced and the values it wrote, for the rows it changed (product ids, variant ids and the edited fields only). Encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and deleted 30 days after the change. A scheduled sale's journal is kept until 30 days after the sale ends, so its end can put prices back.
  • Scheduled sales: name, discount, the product and variant ids, start and end, status.
  • Sessions: a random token that lets your dashboard page talk to our server, deleted after 12 hours.

We don't keep Wix access tokens (we ask Wix for a short-lived one when needed), card details (Wix bills you), or any information about your customers.

How it's used

Only to run Swathwell for your site: showing your products, writing the changes you apply, undoing them, running your sales and showing the change log. We don't sell, share or analyze your data, and we don't use it to train anything.

Where it's stored

On Great Work's server in New York, USA (DigitalOcean). Access is limited to Great Work staff for support and maintenance. Connections use HTTPS.

Deletion

  • Settings > "Delete the change log and sales now" deletes the change log, journals and sales right away.
  • When your plan ends, Undo and the change log stay open for 30 days, then they are deleted.
  • When you remove Swathwell from your site, everything we keep about the site is deleted 30 days later (in case you reinstall). A sale running at that moment still ends and puts prices back first.
  • Settings > "Download what Swathwell keeps about this site" gives you a copy at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data at hello@greatwork.company. We verify the request comes from the site owner and answer within 30 days (deletions within a week). If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Processors

Wix (your site, billing and the API Swathwell uses) and DigitalOcean (hosting). No others.

We'll post changes here with a new date. Material changes are announced in the app.
