Swathwell for Webflow: Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Swathwell is a Webflow app made by Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA (hello@greatwork.company). This policy covers what Swathwell collects, why, where it goes, how long we keep it and how to delete it.
What Swathwell stores
| What | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Your site's Webflow access token, encrypted (AES-256-GCM) | To read your collections and items into the grid and write the changes you apply | Until you remove Swathwell, uninstall it or revoke access; then deleted |
| Site id, workspace id, site name | To apply your plan | As long as Swathwell is connected |
| Batch history: when a batch was applied, by whom (Webflow user email), its name, the collection, and how many items were changed, skipped or published | The History tab and accountability inside your team | 1 year after the batch, or until you remove Swathwell |
| Undo journal: for each item a batch changed, the old values of the fields it changed and its old draft/archive state, encrypted (AES-256-GCM) | So you can undo the batch | 30 days, then deleted (the batch stays in History without undo) |
| Saved views: a name, filters, sort, search text and the columns to show | So your team can reuse them | Until you delete the view or remove Swathwell |
| Server request logs: time, method, path, status, duration | Security and troubleshooting | 30 days. Not logged: query strings, tokens, request bodies, CMS values, emails |
What we don't store. The grid is read from Webflow each time you open a collection; Swathwell keeps no copy of your CMS content on our servers. Changes you've staged but not applied stay in the app panel in your browser's memory only (never in browser storage, never on our server) and are gone when you close the panel. Swathwell doesn't collect your site visitors' data, adds no code or cookies to your site, and doesn't read form submissions, ecommerce data or assets.
Personal data. The personal data Swathwell holds is your Webflow user email (sessions, receipts and the History tab). CMS values in an undo journal can contain personal data if your content does (for example a team member's name in a field you changed); they are kept encrypted, for 30 days, only to undo. We don't sell personal data, don't use it for advertising and don't use it to train AI models.
Third parties and every domain Swathwell talks to
| Domain | Who | What |
|---|---|---|
| api.webflow.com, webflow.com | Webflow, Inc. | Your collections and items through the Data API, and the sign-in (OAuth) screen |
| addons.greatwork.company | Great Work LLC (our server, hosted at DigitalOcean, New York) | Swathwell's backend and our licensing service: your site id, workspace id and verified email, to run your trial and plan |
| checkout.stripe.com, billing.stripe.com | Stripe, Inc. | Payment and billing, only when you click a plan or Manage billing. Stripe holds your card details; we never see them |
| greatwork.company | Great Work LLC | Product page, documentation and this policy |
Image and file links you type or import are sent to Webflow, which fetches the file from that address; Swathwell doesn't fetch them itself. Our server runs on DigitalOcean (United States). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) everywhere.
Retention and deletion
- Remove Swathwell (Settings) deletes the access token, batch history, undo journals and saved views for your site, at once.
- Uninstall or revoke access in Webflow: we delete the token and your site's data the next time Webflow tells us the access is gone (on our next request, and at the latest by the next daily check).
- Undo journals are deleted after 30 days; batch history after 1 year (retention runs daily).
- If your trial or plan ends, nothing is deleted early: the grid stays readable and Undo of your last batch keeps working until its 30 days are up.
- To ask for a copy or deletion of your data, email hello@greatwork.company. We answer within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and object to or restrict its use. Email hello@greatwork.company. Our legal basis for processing is the contract with you (providing the app you installed) and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
Children
Swathwell is a business tool and isn't meant for children under 16.
Changes
We'll post changes here and update the date above. If a change matters, we'll say so in the app.
