Repstub privacy policy

Who is who
You are the owner of the Wix site where Repstub is installed. Your partners are the affiliates and sales reps you add or approve. Your customers are the people who buy on your site. Repstub processes data on your behalf, only to run your commission program.
What we store
- Your site's app instance: the Wix app instance id, site id, published site address and name, and your plan status (from Wix).
- Your program: commission plans, settings, and the partners you add or who apply on your join page: name, email, referral code, coupon codes, an optional Wix staff user id for reps, the plan they're on, and the note they wrote when applying.
- Sales and commissions: for each order that counts, the Wix order id and number, date, currency, amounts, item names and catalog ids, coupon codes used, which partner was credited and how (coupon, link, staff order, renewal or by hand), refunds, and the commission lines, statements and approvals that follow from them.
- Referral link visits: when a visitor arrives through a partner's link, our tracking script sends the partner's code and a Wix access token. We ask Wix which visitor or member the token belongs to and keep only a keyed one-way hash of that id, the partner and the time, for at most 90 days. We also count link visits per partner per day.
- Sessions: a random token for each dashboard session, deleted after 12 hours.
What we never store
Your customers' names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses or payment details. When an order arrives we read it from Wix to compute the commission; the buyer's visitor or member id is hashed before it's compared with link visits, and the buyer's email is compared with your partners' emails (to catch self-referrals) and then dropped. We don't use your customers' data for anything else, don't build lists from it, and don't share it.
Cookies and the live site
The tracking script sets no cookies and uses no browser storage. Wix runs it as an "Advertising" script, so visitors who decline that category in your site's cookie banner aren't tracked. Repstub shows nothing to your visitors.
Where data goes
Our server in the United States (DigitalOcean, New York). Wix, to read orders, plans and coupons through its API. No analytics, no advertising networks, no other processors. Partner pages and join pages are served from our server and set no cookies.
Retention and deletion
Link visit hashes: up to 90 days. When you uninstall Repstub, sessions and link visits are deleted at once and everything else 30 days later (so a reinstall by mistake loses nothing). You can download everything we hold for your site from Settings > Your data, and ask us to delete it sooner at hello@greatwork.company. Partners can ask you, or us, to see or delete their data; we answer within 30 days and verify the request with you first.
Security
HTTPS everywhere. Wix requests are verified (signed app instances, signed webhooks). Partner and join links are signed with a server secret. The app runs as its own unprivileged user, and its web server doesn't log request addresses for Repstub pages.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell site owners through the app.
