Sandstub terms of use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These terms are between you (the owner of the Wix site where Sandstub is installed) and Great Work LLC, 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA ("we"). By installing Sandstub: Countdown Timers & Urgency ("Sandstub") you accept them. Questions: hello@greatwork.company.

What Sandstub does

Sandstub shows countdown timers on your Wix site: in a site-wide bar, as a widget on a page, on Wix Stores product pages and in the side cart. Timers count to a fixed date, a daily or weekly deadline, the end of a Wix discount or coupon, a shipping cutoff, or a per-visitor window. It can show a stock line from your Wix inventory, test messages against each other and count views, clicks and add to cart.

Honest timers

Sandstub is built so its timers count to real deadlines: none restarts itself at zero, per-visitor countdowns keep one window per visitor with a cool-down of at least 7 days, and stock numbers come from your inventory. You agree to use it that way: honor the offers and deadlines your timers announce, keep daily and weekly deadlines to things that really repeat, and don't write messages that state false stock, prices or deadlines. Consumer protection laws in many places (for example the EU's Unfair Commercial Practices Directive and the US FTC Act) forbid false urgency; you are responsible for what your timers say and for honoring it.

Plans and billing

Sandstub is a premium app billed by Wix (Standard, Pro and Scale, monthly or yearly, with a 14-day trial through Wix). Wix's App Market terms govern payments, renewals, refunds and taxes. Without an active plan you can set up and preview timers but nothing shows on your site. Monthly visitor checks are part of each plan; when they run out, per-visitor countdowns, A/B messages and stock lines pause until the next month.

Availability

We work to keep Sandstub running and fix problems quickly, but we don't promise it will be available at every moment. Most timers run from a static file in your visitors' browsers; per-visitor countdowns, A/B messages and stock lines need our server and hide if it can't be reached rather than show something wrong. Sale timers follow Wix's discount dates within minutes of a change.

No warranty

Sandstub is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for Sandstub in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for lost sales or profits, or for offers and deadlines you announce with it.

Ending

You can remove Sandstub at any time from your Wix dashboard. We may end access for abuse (including deceptive timers) or non-payment. Data is handled as the privacy policy describes.

Changes and law

We'll post changes here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA.
