Recapwell for Webflow: documentation

Recapwell turns your Webflow site's own data into a client report: visitors, top pages, sources and goals, form submissions, content published and uptime, compared with the period before, with your notes and your brand.

Install

  1. Install Recapwell from the Webflow Apps marketplace and choose your site on Webflow's screen. Approve.
  2. Open the site in the Designer, open the Apps panel and launch Recapwell.
  3. On the Report tab, pick a period and press Preview.

Previews read Webflow live, save nothing and don't start your trial.

Where the numbers come from

SectionSource
Visitors (visits, visitors, page views, a bar per day)Webflow Analyze. Visitors are unique over the whole period.
Top pages, traffic sources, countries, devicesWebflow Analyze, top 10 of each, ranked by visits
GoalsThe goals you set up in Webflow Analyze, conversions per goal
Form submissionsYour site's form submissions, counted per form name. The values people typed are never stored.
Content publishedCMS items first published in the period and items updated, per collection; pages updated; the last publish
UptimeRecapwell's own check of your published home page every 10 minutes (turn it on in Schedule)
NotesWhat you type in "What we did" and "What's next". Start lines with "- " for a list.

Visitor sections need the Webflow Analyze add-on on your workspace. Without it they say so, and the other sections still work.

Every number is compared with the period just before it (a month with the previous month, 30 days with the 30 before). The summary at the top is written from those numbers only.

Periods and time zone

Last month, last quarter, the last 7 or 30 days, or custom dates. A report covers full days up to yesterday, at most 100 days (Webflow Analyze's window), starting no earlier than April 9, 2025 (when Analyze data begins). Days start at midnight in the time zone you set in Settings (your browser's by one click).

Save, share and send

  • Save and get the client link: saves the report and makes a private link. Anyone with the link can read it without a Webflow account; search engines are told not to index it. Turn the link off or make a new link in Saved at any time.
  • PDF and CSV: from Saved, or from the client's page.
  • Email: up to 5 addresses per report or schedule, with your agency name as the sender name and replies going to your contact address. (Email turns on once Great Work switches on delivery; until then, send the link.)
  • Schedule: monthly on the day and hour you pick (last month), or weekly (the last 7 days). Scheduled reports use the sections and notes saved in Report.

Brand

Agency name, accent color, contact line and a logo (PNG or JPEG under 300 KB) on the report page, the PDF and the email. A saved report keeps the brand it was made with.

Plans

  • Site: $49/month or $490/year. Workspace: $199/month or $1,990/year for up to 15 sites in one Webflow workspace.
  • 14-day trial per site, starting when you save, share or schedule your first report, or turn on uptime checks.
  • When the trial or plan ends: client links show "not available", schedules and uptime checks pause, nothing is deleted, and saved reports stay readable in the Designer for 30 days.
  • Manage billing (Plan tab) opens Stripe for invoices, cards, cancelling or switching monthly and yearly.

What it can't do

  • It reports what Webflow Analyze measures; it doesn't add its own tracking to your site.
  • Uptime is checked from one place (New York) every 10 minutes, so very short outages can be missed.
  • Up to 20,000 form submissions and 20,000 CMS items are counted per report; past that the report says "or more".

Remove

Settings > Remove Recapwell revokes Webflow access and deletes everything Recapwell stored for the site: settings, logo, saved reports (their links stop working) and uptime history. Cancel your plan separately in Manage billing.
