Okaywell for Webflow: how it works
Okaywell adds a sign-off step to your Webflow CMS. You send items for review from the Designer, your client (and anyone else who signs off) opens a private link that shows what changed against the published site, and they approve or request changes. Approved items can publish on their own.
Get started
- Install Okaywell from the Webflow Apps marketplace and approve your site. (If you press Cancel on Webflow's screen, nothing is stored; open Okaywell again to retry.)
- In the Designer, open the Apps panel and launch Okaywell.
- Workflows tab: name the workflow, add a step with your client's email (one per line,
Name <email>works too), pick a due date and reminders, Save. - Send for review tab: pick the collection. Items with changes and drafts are listed first. Tick the ones that are ready.
- Press Preview what they'll see, then Send for review.
- Each reviewer gets their own link. Until review emails are on, copy each link with its Copy button and send it from your own email or chat.
What reviewers see
- A plain page with your site's name (or, on Pro, your agency's name and color), the title and your note.
- For each item: "New item" or how many fields changed. Changed text and rich text show the words that changed; images, references, options, dates and switches show the published value next to the one for review. Unchanged fields are folded away.
- A comment box on every field, an overall comment, and Approve or Request changes. Requesting changes needs a comment unless you turn that off in the workflow.
- The page runs no scripts and loads images only from Webflow's CDN. Reviewers don't need a Webflow account.
Workflows
- One or more steps, in order. Step 2's reviewers get their link only after step 1 approves.
- Each step needs every approver, or any one of them.
- Due dates per step (shown to reviewers) and reminders every N days to anyone who hasn't decided.
- Publish on approval: publish the items as soon as the last step approves. Off by default.
- Plan limits: 2 steps and 5 approvers per step on Standard, 5 and 10 on Pro.
Following a review (Reviews tab)
- Status per review: open (and which step), approved, changes requested or cancelled.
- The detail shows every reviewer's decision, comments per field, and when each link was opened.
- New link for a reviewer replaces their link (the old one stops working). Cancel review stops every link.
- Check for edits flags items changed in Webflow after you sent them.
- Send a new round: after changes are requested, fix the items and send again; the new round links to the last one.
- Publish approved items: publishes approved items that nobody edited after sending. Edited ones are skipped and listed, so nothing goes live that the client didn't see.
Audit trail
Every send, link opened, decision, comment, publish and seat change is recorded. Export it as CSV from the Reviews tab. Kept 12 months on Standard and Workspace, 36 on Pro.
Seats and branding (Settings)
- An editor seat is a teammate who sends reviews from the site: 3 on Standard, 7 on Pro. Free a seat in Settings. Client reviewers never take a seat.
- Pro: your agency's name and accent color on review pages and emails.
Plans
- Standard: $129 a month or $1,290 a year per site (3 editors, 2 steps, 25 items per review, 12-month audit trail).
- Pro: $249 a month or $2,490 a year per site (7 editors, 5 steps, 50 items per review, branding, 36-month audit trail).
- Workspace: $699 a month or $6,990 a year for every site in a Webflow workspace, Standard limits on each.
- 14-day free trial per site with 20 review requests, from your first review. When it ends, sending pauses: open reviews keep working, your CMS is unchanged, and you can read reviews and export the audit trail for 30 days. Plans renew automatically; cancel any time in Manage billing.
Removing Okaywell
Settings, Remove Okaywell deletes everything we keep for the site (export the audit trail first if you need it), stops open links and revokes access. Your CMS items stay. Uninstalling in Webflow does the same within about a day.
