What we store

• Your site's app instance: the Wix app instance id, site id, published site address and site name, and your plan status (from Wix). We use these to run the app for your site and nothing else.
• Your locations and maps: the names, addresses, coordinates, phone numbers, emails, websites, categories and opening hours you add, import or copy from your site's Business Info, and each map's settings. This is information you choose to publish on your site.
• Usage counts: how many address lookups your site used each month, and (for the Pro search report) how many visitor searches each map had per day and how many found nothing nearby.
• Visitor searches: when a visitor types an address on your map, it goes to our server and to our geocoding provider to get coordinates. We keep a one-way hash of the text and the resulting coordinates for 30 days so repeat searches are fast. We never store what visitors typed in readable form, and our web server doesn't log search requests.
• Sessions: a random token for each dashboard or settings session, deleted after 12 hours.

We do not store your Wix login, payment details (Wix handles billing), or any data about your site's customers or members. We don't use cookies on your published site and the widget doesn't use browser storage.

Who else is involved

• Wix (wix.com): hosts your site, bills the subscription and tells us your plan status.
• Geocodio (geocod.io), through Great Work's own geocoding service at geo.greatwork.company: turns addresses into coordinates. It receives the address text only.
• OpenFreeMap (openfreemap.org): serves the map tiles your visitors' browsers load. It sees their IP address as any web server does.
• DigitalOcean (digitalocean.com): hosts our servers in the United States.

We don't sell or share data with anyone else, and we don't use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

While the app is installed. When you uninstall, your maps stop showing immediately and we delete your site's data 30 days later (so a reinstall within 30 days picks up where you left off). Ask us at hello@greatwork.company to delete it sooner or to get a copy.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. We confirm the request comes from the site owner, reply within a week, and finish within 30 days. If you're in the EU, UK or California, you have the rights those laws give you; contact us and we'll help.
