Lobbywell Privacy Policy

This policy covers Lobbywell: Intranet News, People and Events for Confluence (the "App"), a Forge app published on the Atlassian Marketplace by Great Work LLC ("Great Work", "we", "us"), 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA. Contact: hello@greatwork.company.
Summary
The App runs entirely on Atlassian's Forge platform. It turns a Confluence space into an intranet home: a news feed, announcement banners, a people directory, events, quick links and celebrations. Great Work does not run servers for the App, does not receive your content, and does not sell or share personal data.
What the App stores (Forge Key-Value Store for your site)
- Space themes: accent color, logo reference (an attachment on the space home page), intranet name, tagline and layout choices.
- Banners: title, message, link, color, target groups, dates and who created them.
- Acknowledgements and dismissals: the account ID of the person and the time.
- Read marks for news: the account ID, the blog post ID and the time it was opened (kept for up to a year), and the time a person last chose "Mark all read".
- People data entered in the App: start dates, welcome lines, job title, department or location typed by a Confluence admin where the Atlassian profile is empty, and whether someone is hidden from lists.
- Celebrations a person chose to share: birthday month and day (never the year) and whether to show it, start date and whether to show the work anniversary.
- Caches: the members of the directory group with their names, job titles, departments and locations (refreshed every 6 hours, deleted after 2 days unused), the groups a person belongs to (10 minutes), and the picture path of each news post.
- Settings: the default directory group, and one flag that marks a development install.
What the App reads
- News posts, event pages and their pictures, read as the person viewing them, so nobody sees content they could not open in Confluence. The App reads the opening text of posts and the dates and "Location:" line of event pages to show them; it does not store page text.
- Group membership and the members of the directory group and banner audiences, and account names, as the App.
- Job title, department and location from Atlassian account profiles, as the App, following each person's profile visibility settings at Atlassian.
What leaves Atlassian
Nothing. The App has no external network permissions and no remote backend. Great Work cannot see your pages, people or banners. Links in tiles and banners are opened by the reader's browser; the App never calls them. Atlassian provides the hosting and processes data under its own terms (https://www.atlassian.com/legal/privacy-policy) as the platform provider.
Logs
Forge keeps function logs that Great Work can read for troubleshooting. The App logs only error messages, never page content, names or tokens. Atlassian controls log retention.
Retention and deletion
Data stays while the App is installed, except caches and read marks, which expire as described above. Once a week the App asks Atlassian which stored accounts were closed and erases everything about them. A person can remove their shared celebrations at any time in "My celebrations"; an admin can clear start dates and other people data on the People tab. When the App is uninstalled, Atlassian deletes the App's Forge storage for that site according to the Forge platform's data deletion process.
Data residency
Forge storage follows your Confluence site's data residency location where Atlassian supports it for Forge apps.
Your rights
Because Great Work does not receive or hold your data, requests to access, correct or delete personal data should go to your Confluence site admin. We will help: email hello@greatwork.company.
Children
The App is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced in the App's release notes at least 30 days before they apply.
