What you get
- Run from the editor. Right-click any k6 script (JavaScript or TypeScript) and choose Run. Virtual users, duration, iterations, environment variables and extra k6 flags live in a normal run configuration, with macros like $ProjectFileDir$ expanded.
- A clean console. The progress bar is off by default, and script errors link straight to the line.
- A report after every run. Thresholds, checks and key metrics (p95, p90, error rate, throughput) in the Loadkiln tool window.
- Baselines. Pin a good run; each new run shows what got better or worse, beyond a 5% noise band (half a percentage point for error and check rates).
- Copy as Markdown for pull requests, and File > New > k6 Load Test for a starter script.
- What it doesn't do. It doesn't install k6, run tests in Grafana Cloud, or debug scripts step by step. Tests run on your machine with your own k6 binary (tested with k6 v2.3).
- Privacy. Loadkiln has no server and sends nothing anywhere. Run history stays in your project's workspace file on this computer.
