Glancewell for Webflow: documentation
Glancewell shows every site in your Webflow workspace on one health dashboard. It's read-only: it never changes a site.
Install
- Install Glancewell from the Webflow Apps marketplace.
- On Webflow's approval screen, choose your workspace (not individual sites) so every site, including ones you add later, shows up. If you pick sites instead, only those appear; you can reconnect later and choose the workspace.
- Open any site of that workspace in the Designer, then open Glancewell from the Apps panel. It opens wide (the large panel size) so the table fits.
Your first scan
Press Scan now. Glancewell reads each site from Webflow and checks its live domains; expect about a minute per ten sites. The 14-day trial starts here and covers up to 10 sites. After that a scan runs every day on its own (spread over the day), and you can start up to 6 more by hand each day.
The Sites table
| Column | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Health | 100 minus 25 per critical finding, 8 per warning and 2 per note. Dismissed findings don't count |
| Status | Up when every custom domain's home page answered with a status under 400 at the last check. Below it: the share of daily checks that were up over the last 30 days |
| Published | Webflow's last publish date. Older than your stale window (90 days unless you change it) shows in amber |
| Plan | Webflow's answer on Enterprise workspaces; otherwise the plan you set for the site, or our best guess (a site with no custom domain is likely on Starter) |
| CMS items | Every collection's item count added up, against the plan's limit when the plan is known |
| Forms (30 days) | Form submissions in the last 30 days, all forms on the site. Shown as "1,000+" when there were more than we count per scan |
| Top issue | The most urgent finding |
Sites beyond your plan's count are listed in grey and aren't scanned. Pin a site (in its page) to make sure it's always covered; pinned sites come first, then the most recently published.
What's checked
Every day, per custom domain (up to four per site): the home page status and response time, the certificate
expiry date, whether http:// redirects to https://, noindex in the page or an X-Robots-Tag header, and
whether robots.txt blocks every crawler. The site's webflow.io address is checked for search engine access when
the site also has a custom domain.
From the home page: title, meta description, social image (og:image), favicon (and whether it's still
Webflow's placeholder), the page language, and images without an alt attribute (an empty alt="" counts as
decorative and is fine).
From Webflow: last publish, custom domains, languages, static pages with an empty SEO title or description, collections and item counts, the newest published item, form submission counts by date.
Every week: the live domain's sitemap.xml (and its child sitemaps on the same domain), with up to 100 of its
pages checked by a light request each, spread evenly over the list. Pages that return 404 or 410 are listed.
Findings and severities
| Finding | Severity |
|---|---|
| Domain down, error status, certificate expired or invalid, noindex or a blocking robots.txt on the live domain, CMS at the plan's limit, 5 or more sitemap 404s | Critical |
| Not published within your stale window, certificate expiring within 14 days, no https redirect, webflow.io open to search, missing title, description or favicon, Webflow's placeholder favicon, images without alt text, pages without an SEO title, 1 to 4 sitemap 404s, no form submissions in 30 days (on a site that had them), CMS items at 80% of the limit | Warning |
| Slow home page, no custom domain, never published, no social image, no page language, pages without a description, no sitemap, a jump in form submissions, no new CMS item in 60 days, 200+ CMS items | Note |
Dismiss a finding that doesn't apply (a staging site that's supposed to be noindex, for example). It's hidden from the score, the table and the client report, and you can restore it.
"Fix with" lines
When one of our other Webflow apps fixes a finding, it carries one line naming it: Mendwell for sitemap 404s, Snippetwell for titles, descriptions and social images, Includewell for alt text and language, Vaultwell for CMS backups, Cadencewell for publishing on a schedule, Swathwell for cleaning up CMS items. Turn them off in Settings. Client reports never include them.
Site plans and CMS limits
Webflow's API shares a site's plan only on Enterprise workspaces. Elsewhere, pick the plan in the site's page ("Site plan"). Limits used:
| Plan | CMS items | Collections |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 50 | 20 |
| Basic | no CMS | none |
| Premium | 20,000 | 40 |
| CMS (legacy) | 2,000 | 20 |
| Business (legacy) | 10,000 | 40 |
| Ecommerce Standard, Plus, Advanced (legacy) | 2,000 / 10,000 / 10,000 | 20 / 40 / 40 |
| Team, Enterprise | set by your contract (not compared) | Team: 100 |
Current plans are from Webflow's pricing page (October 2026). Legacy plans use the last limits Webflow published; if your site has a CMS add-on or a custom limit, treat the percentage as a guide.
Reports
- Client report (PDF): from a site's page. Your agency name (Settings) goes on top. It has the score, a summary, uptime and domains, the site at a glance, every open finding in plain words and the missing sitemap pages. It doesn't mention Glancewell's other apps. The PDF is tagged for screen readers.
- CSV: one site (numbers and findings) or the whole workspace (one row per site), from the Sites tab.
Weekly digest
Every Monday Glancewell writes a digest: sites checked, sites down, critical issues and warnings, new issues this week and how many were fixed, and the sites that need someone. The Weekly digest tab shows this week so far and past weeks. Turn on email in Settings to get it at your Webflow email (email delivery is being switched on; until then it's in the app).
Plans and billing
- Studio $49/month or $490/year, up to 10 sites. Agency $149/month or $1,490/year, up to 30. Network $449/month or $4,490/year, up to 100.
- 14-day free trial for up to 10 sites, from the first scan. No card needed.
- After the trial, scans and digests stop until you pick a plan; results and reports stay readable for 30 days.
- Plan tab > Choose opens a secure Stripe checkout in a new tab; press Refresh when you're back. Manage billing changes tiers (prorated), the card, invoices or cancels.
GlancewellBot
Our checks come from GlancewellBot/1.0 (+https://addons.greatwork.company/webflow/workspace-health/bot) on our
server in New York. If a client site sits behind a firewall or bot protection, allow that user agent.
Remove
Settings > Remove Glancewell deletes everything we store for the workspace and revokes Webflow access. Your plan isn't cancelled by removing the app: cancel it in Plan > Manage billing.
Troubleshooting
- Only some sites show up: the install covers selected sites. Remove Glancewell in Settings and connect again, choosing the workspace.
- A site shows "Down" but loads for you: it may block our server (a firewall or bot protection) or answer slowly; check the domain's line in the site's page for the exact error.
- Forms show "Not readable": Webflow refused form access for that site; reconnect to grant it.
- "Webflow rate limit": Webflow allows about 60 requests a minute per install; Glancewell paces itself, and big workspaces simply take longer to scan.
