Agendawell for Webflow: how it works
Agendawell keeps a Webflow CMS collection in sync with your calendars. Each event (and each date of a repeating event) becomes a real CMS item you design with Collection Lists and a template page.
Get started
- Install Agendawell from the Webflow Apps marketplace and approve your site. (If you press Cancel on Webflow's screen, nothing is stored; open Agendawell again to retry.)
- In the Designer, open the Apps panel and launch Agendawell. The Syncs tab opens a new sync.
- Paste your calendar's iCal (ICS) address and press Add calendar. Agendawell reads it once and tells you how many upcoming events it found.
- Pick a collection, or press Create an events collection to get one with every field already mapped.
- Check the field mapping and the rules, then Save sync.
- Press Preview to see what would be added (free, writes nothing), then Sync now.
- On your page, add a Collection List bound to the collection, sort it by Start (ascending) and filter it by "Is past" is off (or Start is in the future). Publish.
Where to find your calendar's iCal address
- Google Calendar: Settings, pick the calendar, Integrate calendar, "Secret address in iCal format" (or "Public address in iCal format" if the calendar is public).
- Outlook / Microsoft 365: Settings, Calendar, Shared calendars, Publish a calendar, pick the calendar and "Can view all details", then copy the ICS link.
- Apple iCloud: in Calendar, share the calendar as a Public Calendar and copy the link (webcal:// works).
- Any other calendar app that publishes an
.icsfeed over HTTPS.
The address is stored encrypted and shown masked. Anyone with a secret address can read the calendar, so don't share it elsewhere.
Repeating events
- One item per date (default): every date in the window gets its own item, slug
title-2026-10-07. - One item per event, showing its next date: the item moves to the next date after each one.
- The window is 1 to 12 months ahead (24 on Pro), plus the days back you choose. Most dates per event caps endless repeats.
- Skipped dates (EXDATE), extra dates (RDATE), a single date moved or edited (RECURRENCE-ID), and daylight-saving changes are followed. Outlook's Windows time zone names are understood.
Fields
Map any of these to a field of a matching type: Title (always Name), Start, End, All day, Date as text, Time as text, Date and time as text, Time zone, Description (rich text kept safe), Location, Map link, Online meeting link, Event link, Image, Categories (text or Option), Status (text or Option: Scheduled, Tentative, Cancelled), Recurring, Repeats as text, Series ID, Event ID, Calendar name, Organizer (name only), Is past, Add to Google Calendar link, Add to Outlook link, Length in minutes. Date texts use the sync's time zone (the site's by default) and one of 16 languages. The Slug field is managed by Agendawell.
Add to calendar buttons: map the two link fields, select an element inside your Collection List or event template, then Settings, Insert into selected element.
Rules
- Cancelled or removed dates: archive (default), delete, or keep with Status set to Cancelled.
- Ended events: keep (and filter by Is past), archive or delete.
- Your Webflow edits: a field you changed in Webflow is kept (default) unless you choose to let the calendar overwrite it. Fields you didn't map are never touched.
- Which events: private and confidential events are skipped by default; include or exclude by words in the title or category.
- Drafts and publishing: new items as drafts, and whether to publish the items a sync changed.
- Broken-feed guard: if a feed fails or suddenly has far fewer events, scheduled syncs hold removals back and the log says so. Press Sync now to confirm them.
Overrides (Events tab)
The Events tab reads your calendars live and shows what each event became in Webflow. For one date, or for every date of a repeating event, you can hide it or replace its title, description, location, event link, image or categories. Overrides apply on the next sync and stay until you clear them. Your calendar is never changed.
Schedule and log
Syncs run every 15 minutes or more on Standard, every 5 or more on Pro, or only when you press Sync now. If the calendar hasn't changed, a scheduled sync skips Webflow entirely. The Sync log keeps 30 days of runs with every item added, changed, archived or deleted.
Pro: Google Calendar sign-in
Settings, Connect Google: approve read-only access, then add calendars by id (primary for your main one). No
iCal address needed. Disconnect any time.
Plans
- Standard: $39 a month or $390 a year per site (3 feeds, 1,000 events, 12 months ahead, every 15 minutes).
- Pro: $129 a month or $1,290 a year per site (15 feeds, Google sign-in, 5,000 events, 24 months, every 5 minutes).
- Workspace: $299 a month or $2,990 a year for every site in a Webflow workspace, Standard limits on each.
- 14-day free trial per site with 1,000 synced changes, from your first real sync. When it ends, syncing pauses; your items and settings stay. Plans renew automatically; cancel any time in Manage billing.
Removing Agendawell
Settings, Remove Agendawell deletes everything we keep for the site and revokes access. Your CMS items stay. Uninstalling in Webflow does the same within about a day.
