Accentwell Privacy Policy

This policy covers Accentwell: Formatting Macros for Confluence (the "App"), a Forge app published on the Atlassian Marketplace by Great Work LLC ("Great Work", "we", "us"), 651 N Broad St Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709, USA. Contact: hello@greatwork.company.
Summary
The App runs entirely on Atlassian's Forge platform. It adds formatting macros (buttons, sections, columns, progress bars, timelines, icon lists, badges and dividers) to Confluence pages. Great Work does not run servers for the App, does not receive your content, and does not sell or share personal data.
What the App stores
- In each macro, the settings you type into it (labels, links, colors, list lines). Confluence stores these as part of the page, like any other macro; the App does not keep a copy.
- In Forge Key-Value Store for your site, one record per space whose admin saved a theme: the accent color, button style, corners, spacing, divider line and section shade, keyed by the space key and space id. No names, account IDs or page text.
- One flag in Forge storage that marks a development install (used only by Great Work's own test sites).
What the App reads
- To check that the person saving a space theme may administer that space, the App asks Confluence for the space and its permitted operations, as that person.
- When a page is exported to PDF or Word, the App asks Confluence which space the page belongs to, as the exporting user, to apply that space's theme. It does not read the page text.
- Sections and columns show the content typed inside them using Atlassian's own renderer in the reader's browser. The App does not store it.
What leaves Atlassian
Nothing. The App has no external network permissions and no remote backend. Great Work cannot see your pages or users. Links in buttons and lists are opened by the reader's browser; the App never calls them. Atlassian provides the hosting and processes data under its own terms (https://www.atlassian.com/legal/privacy-policy) as the platform provider.
Logs
Forge keeps function logs that Great Work can read for troubleshooting. The App logs only error messages, never page content, and never logs tokens. Atlassian controls log retention.
Retention and deletion
Space themes stay while the App is installed. When the App is uninstalled, Atlassian deletes the App's Forge storage for that site according to the Forge platform's data deletion process. Macro settings are part of your pages and stay with them.
Data residency
Forge storage follows your Confluence site's data residency location where Atlassian supports it for Forge apps.
Your rights
Because Great Work does not receive or hold your data, requests to access, correct or delete personal data should go to your Confluence site admin. We will help: email hello@greatwork.company.
Children
The App is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced in the App's release notes at least 30 days before they apply.
