AudioKick

Terms of Use

Last updated October 21, 2026

AudioKick is published by Great Work LLC. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms.

License

AudioKick is free. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to download it and use it on Macs you own or control. Don't resell it, redistribute modified copies, or remove our name from it.

What it does to your Mac

AudioKick restarts macOS's Core Audio process when you ask it to (or after your Mac wakes, if you turn that on), which briefly interrupts all audio. With your permission it can add a sudoers rule that allows only that one command. You can remove the rule from the menu at any time.

No warranty

AudioKick is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Great Work LLC isn't liable for any damages arising from your use of it, including lost audio, recordings or work. Don't rely on it during live recording or performance.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
