Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG?

Does converting keep transparent backgrounds?
PNG and WebP keep transparent areas exactly as they are. JPG has no transparency, so ImgConvert fills transparent areas with white when you pick JPG. Choose PNG for logos and cut-outs you will place on colored backgrounds, and WebP for lighter images on websites.
